The Seeker Never Wakes Up

What if the very thing the seeker has been chasing for years is the one thing that can never actually be reached?

The hardest truth is that no person has ever woken up. Not once.

Because the separate self that's looking for awakening is the very illusion that disappears when it's seen through.

Why Seeking Loops Forever

Seeking doesn't end because the seeker finally wins or reaches enlightenment. It ends when it's seen clearly that the seeker was never there to begin with. And it's seen by no one.

That's why seeking can loop for years, even decades.

The energy of seeking says: If I just meditate more, study more, meet the right teacher, then one day I'll get it.

But that very assumption keeps awakening at a distance. It makes you overlook the simple truth that you are already all of it. Already awake.

The Shadow and the Light

And then stacked on top of that seeking energy are things like unworthiness, doubt, shame, and guilt. Which just reinforces the sense of lack.

It's like a shadow trying to find the light. The shadow can never obtain the light. The moment it meets the light, it disappears.

The light itself had only forgotten what it was, temporarily taking on the perspective of being the shadow.

The Cloud and the Sky

Or another way to say it: Imagine you are the boundless sky. Within you, a single cloud appears. You focus on the cloud so much that you start to believe you are the cloud.

You live as the cloud. You even forget you are the sky. And from that mistaken identity, you begin seeking.

But the cloud can never wake up. It was never a sovereign thing to begin with.

The truth is that you were never the cloud. You were always the boundless sky. And when that's remembered, the whole illusion of being a seeker chasing awakening collapses.

Awakening isn't about the seeker finally finding what it's been after. It's the realization that the seeker never existed in the first place.
